Nick Trinder BVM&S MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon / Owner

Nick qualified from the Royal Dick Vet school, Edinburgh in ______ and joined the practice in 1995 after initially practising in the Baildon area of Bradford. Nick took over as sole owner in 2013 when partner David McCuish retired.  Nick particularly enjoys consulting with an interest in Cardiology. He shares the desire to care absolutely for the pets entrusted to us, and employs an active approach to veterinary science with thorough investigation and treatment of patients. 

Nick is a keen dog walker and has a German Shorthaired Pointer who along with his passion for running, helps keep him fit. 

Neil Walsh BVM&S MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Neil joined the practice in 1998 and qualified from the Liverpool Veterinary University

Whilst enjoying all aspects of veterinary practice, Neil is a keen and talented surgeon.  He often cycles to work from outer Leeds in his aim to keep fit! He has a cat called Artemis. 


Daniel Roman DVM MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Daniel graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine in Romania  in ______  He moved to the UK and later worked in a Small Animal Practice in Lincolnshire. Daniel joined Avenue Vets in 2016   He enjoys cuddles with his cat 'Jimmy' 


Ash Burton  MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Ash works for Avenue Vets on a part time basis and shares his skills with Bradford PDSA. Ash graduated in 1999 from the _______________. Ash enjoys consulting



Sharon Parylo CertEd RVN

Practice Manager & RVN

Sharon qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 1997 and after a period of time in practice, Sharon caught the teaching bug and dedicated 12 years teaching Veterinary Nursing  for a College. She returned to active practice in 2015 where she was in a clinical role,  but since 2017 took on the dual role of managing the day to day running of both branches along side nursing. She has since completed her Certificate in Leadership and Management and now manages the practice full time.

 Katie Hogan RVN

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Katie completed her Veterinary Care Assistant course before taking on the challenge of Student Veterinary Nurse . Katie passed her finals in April 2018 and became an RVN. Katie joined us in November 2019 after a period at another practice. 

Katie loves keeping busy and is a very dedicated member of our nursing team.  Katie became a mum in December 2020 and went on maternity leave. We hope to see her return to the team at the end of this year. 

Sophie Hunt RVN

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Sophie qualified as an RVN in 2019 and has since completed her Emergency Care Certificate which she worked very hard to achieve. She joined us in October 2020 and is a valued member of the team. Sophie's interest is surgical and she loves the theatre environment. Sophie loves the outdoor life and is always out walking with her Springer Spaniel 'Riley'.  


Leanne Ward RVN

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Leanne has been in the Veterinary profession since 2006, qualifying as an RVN in 2011. She very much enjoys working with the clients in nurse clinics along with general theatre and in-patient care. Leanne puts 100% into everything she does at the practice and is an asset to the AVG team. Leanne has two greyhounds and a cat. 


Nursing Assistant

Hayley  is one of our most experienced Nursing Assistants and has been with the practice since ____. She predominantly works at our Bingley branch and is very dedicated in her work. She is cleaning mad and if you stand still long enough, you will be cleaned too!. She loves nothing more to be outside walking her Border Collie 'Blue'.



Nursing Assistant

Steph initially came to the practice as a work experience student. We loved her enthusiasm so much we hired her as a full time nursing assistant in _____! Steph qualified as an Animal Nursing Assistant in 2019 and hopes to complete her training to be a Registered Veterinary Nurse.



Nursing Assistant

Emma joined us in March 2021 to expand our team further. She qualified as an Animal Nursing Assistant in 2019 but has worked in Veterinary Practice since 2018giving her plenty of experience. 

Support Team


Administrator  & Receptionist

Tanya has been with Avenue for over ___ years. Although she also provides  reception support, Tanya is the Practice Manager's 'right hand woman' and assists in the office with various admin tasks. 



Receptionist (p/t)

Rona joined us in ___. Rona trained as a Veterinary Nurse some years ago, but chose to focus as a receptionist to allow time for family. She now helps out with wildlife rehabilitation in her spare time.  



Receptionist (f/t)

Sam joined us in March 2021 as a full time receptionist to replace a retiring member of staff. A bubbly member of the team who is very dedicated to his role and puts clients at ease when worried. He is he proud owner of a Romanian Rescue dog and a Pug.

Martin has been with Avenue Vets since ____  He is almost part of the fixtures and fittings as a full time receptionist working predominately at our Bingley branch. Martin loves to read in his spare time. 


Receptionist (p/t)

Nicky initially worked as a Nursing Assistant when she joined Avenue in _____. She changed her role to part time receptionist so she could focus on family life.  Nicky has a menagerie of pets which includes cats, dogs and rabbits.
